International architectural competition for the National Stadium rehabilitation in Budapest. Hungary. During the 1950's, hungarian national football once became world famous by the legendary 6:3 match in England, under the wings of Ferenc "Pancho" Puskas leadership. Shortly then, this area in the city became a cultic place for sports loving people in Hungary. The building would be the upcoming "Shrine" for the next football generation, situated next to the existing one. The construction could be a possible sollution to refurbrish this poorly abandoned area. Won special prize.
